School of Geography and the Environment, Oxford University
The School of Geography and the Environment was established in 1899 and was known as the School of Geography. The department is part of the university’s Social Sciences Division and has three main research centres: Environmental Change Institute, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and Transport Studies Unit.
The department is located within the Oxford University Centre of the Environment on South Parks Road in Central Oxford.
