Apple Tree Cottage

Well located, quiet, and very well equipped. We’ve also taken some design inspiration for our own home!

The location is excellent. The neighborhood is nice, there is a gas station, a shop and pubs nearby. You can walk to the shop through a beautiful landscape. It takes about half an hour to walk to the city center, which is also a pleasant walk. If you take an Uber, the price is approximately €10. We approached the house from the wrong side, so we weren’t sure how to get there, but we called the host and she explained everything to us. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, even more beautiful in person. The beds are very comfortable, wifi is great. It was a bit cold in the house, an extra blanket would have been helpful but this really wasn’t a big issue. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Apple Tree Cottage, everything was great. If I might make just one suggestion, I would perhaps add a stronger light in the sitting room area. The Booking process was easy and smooth, as usual. Thanks again to the whole team at SLS!

Loved our stay here for exploring Oxford city and surrounds. Very easy to get the bus into the city centre and back, about 20 minute journey. Great space for two couples with a great kitchen and big living room too

The place was great, just as described, and the host was very communicative and easy to deal with. Would 100% recommend.

Good location, secure and managed well. Location was really easy to access the main part of Oxford, and had good off the street parking facilities.
I was slightly worried about all the apples falling on the car roof and setting off the car alarm as it was quite windy one night – but actually totally fine!

Great location for visiting Oxford. The bus stop is a few minutes’ walk and barely 10 minutes from the centre of Oxford. The possibility of leaving your car in front of the house is a plus. The accommodation is spacious, beautifully decorated, certainly refurbished recently, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the agency is excellent, they are proactive and make sure everything goes well. We’ll be back!

Beautiful space with lots of amenities, good transport links near by.

It was an exceptional stay. Very nice apartment, quiet, nice and clean. We loved the lack of carpet as my son is allergic. It is very convenient to reach Oxford City by bus (the bus stop is a few meters from the apartment).

Fabulous place! The house is lovely and all details are very well though for an excellent stay. Everything was excellent. Yet, Check-in time at 4pm is too late and check-out at 10am is too early. The owners allowed us to get in at 2pm as we were traveling with two little ones an needed a quite place to rest a bit.

Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped

A smart, nicely equipped little cottage on the very edge of Oxford at Wolvercote. 2 comfortable double beds, good shower, pretty quiet despite the main road that passes. Bus stops about 200m away (frequent services into Oxford take about 15 mins) or a good 3 mile walk to the centre, either direct, or via Jericho or along the canal.

Very nice apartment, lovingly equipped. Built into a former outbuilding of a villa. Very well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob. It pulls something through windows and doors.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and the host was responsive and helpful, thank you!

I booked the cottage for my family who were visiting. Liz and Rob were amazing. Always responsive and helpful, and resolved any issues that cropped up. Property is finihsed to a high standard. Very easy to get to city centre and Summertown high street was close by.

Great location in an area well known to us. Convenient for public transport to the city and access to the ring road and beyond.

Perfect location & cottage is a bonus! Overall, the location. Its just off the motorway, top end of Woodstock Road. We ventured into Oxford via the bus (bus stop right outside the cottage). Given the cottage is on the main road , no traffic noise heard whatsoever. The cottage was a bonus! Beautiful, cosy, snug little house/cottage with everything you need. Lovely and warm. Beds were so comfortable!

Lovely cottage, immaculate, pretty neighbourhood. Easy access to City Centre by bus. Although on a busy street there was no road noise. Very comfortable.

I had a delightful stay at Apple Tree Cottage. A perfect place for a peaceful getaway with Summertown and Wolvercote within easy reach. It’s a lovely space with a cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

It was just just perfect. We felt home as soon as we stepped in. Clean and cosy, with very clear guidance and notes for the stay. The house is very luminous and furnished with a lot of taste. Well, it is not exaggerated to state that there is nothing that we didn’t like!

Excellent cottage in a good location. Only had breakfast at the cottage but there was a generous selection of crockery etc. Good standard of furnishings . Warm and cosy.

The cottage is very tidy and cosy, with lovely garden and fully equipped kitchen (washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc), located in a quiet neighbourhood. It’s newly renovated and tastefully designed. We had everything we needed and spent a great half term. Thank you!
