We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Spring Hill Cottage. The property was extremely well maintained, clean and very well equipped, more so than I was expecting. The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside whilst being easily accessible to Oxford and Woodstock. The hosts of the cottage were friendly and welcoming and on hand if we needed anything.
Exceptional. Excellent host, and gorgeous house. The atmosphere was very cosy, the facilities were clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely recommend staying at the Shark House and we are hoping to be back in the future!

Great place, a few minutes' drive from Oxford. The house is very nice, equipped with all the comforts and everything you could ask for both in terms of furniture and electrical equipment. Excellent bathrooms. A very comfortable dedicated parking space. A very pleasant and quiet setting, where it is pleasant to take a walk among flowered balconies and friendly and courteous people.
We had a fabulous stay at the shark house. The accommodation was spacious, with plenty of room for our group. Great location and a very helpful host.
Very nice location. The house was very useful. It's a very well-maintained house. My advice is to complete the details such as a set of knives and kitchen utensils, for example, a soup ladle. And the garden can be better utilized. A seating group would be very enjoyable.
I was looking for somewhere to stay as an extended family of 10 - grandparents, daughters and grandchildren - and this fitted what we wanted perfectly! We were here for 2 nights, meeting up at a local pub, The Lion, at Wendlebury with other family members for Saturday lunch - which we all really enjoyed.
A lovely house in a great and picturesque location. Perfect base for our family of 5 to enjoy Oxford and surrounding areas. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Well equipped, comfortable with a lovely patio to enjoy. Nice selection of restaurants and boutiques within a few minutes walk, as well as a supermarket for essentials.
Initially, we had some difficulty getting to the house due to the road closure. The agent at Short Let Space was helpful and responsive. After understanding our concerns, advice was given and the agent(s) followed up to make sure that we were okay. I was touched by the owner, who contacted me directly after knowing that I was having issues with the road closure as I needed to help my daughter move several bulky luggage into her dorm located at the city centre.
Fantastic stay at The Bolthole. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again! Easy and hassle free check in with a lock box. All details confirmed prior to stay with a check in email and videos on how to use everything from heating to the oven which was a great help.
