We stayed at Church Cottage for a week through Christmas period and it was truly magical. Hands down one of the best Christmases we’ve ever had, and that was largely thanks to the cottage itself. The space was warm, relaxing and incredibly homely – the cosy living room and little Christmas tree set the perfect festive scene. The kitchen was just right for us, and the whole place felt safe, beautiful and very peaceful. We loved the long walks around the area and how well located it was, with Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford very close by. It was the most wonderful short stay and we’re so grateful. We would absolutely love to return again next year.

It was a great location and so much space for a family of 4 adults and two children. We had a wonderful time!

Absolutely lovely space!

This cottage was like something out of a Jane Austen novel. The house was very clean and there was a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen. The living room was stocked with hundreds of books. We played card games in the evenings. Swerford is a tiny sleepy village but fun to walk around. There is plenty of off-street parking (we had two cars, but I think we could have fitted three).

Beautiful cottage, just what we had wished for and exactly as described on the website and seen in the pictures. Warm cosy and very well kept. Heating worked well. We are a family of 6 adults and all had enough space indoors to unwind and relax. Great location wonderful day trips (Blenheim Palace, Hidcote Gdn, Broughton Castle, Diddly Squat Farm, and many more. Lovely walks in the region too. Great upscale Pub 5 min by car (Boxing Hare) and many others in the region. The “short let stay” team was very helpful and contacted us proactively, if we needed anything. The only slight inconvenience was the fact that if both showers were used at the same time, water got scarce. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Lovely property in a picturesque and incredibly peaceful part of the Cotswolds. Short drive to nearby towns with ample walking routes. Despite its ample size, felt very cosy and kept heat well during the cold evenings. Whilst we’ve not marked it down, we were disappointed to not find a welcome pack with local produce or even some milk. A downside of short letting from a company rather than private individuals perhaps? Some information of the local amenities, takeaways, walks etc would also be helpful. The online guide focused on the workings of the house which was helpful, but could include information on the local area. Small things, but nothing to stop us from coming back!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this wonderful cottage. We loved how well decorated it was throughout, full of nice details and small touches. Kitchen was large and practical for evening meals, we used both fires. The village is beautiful and very peaceful. We had lovely walks from the door, and great pubs nearby. Many thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and the upstairs bedrooms offer plenty of space. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful cottage, in the most idyllic setting, Beautifully clean house, was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

The cottage is absolutely divine. It is decorated with great taste and attention to details. It has all comforts and equipment’s one might need. The garden is a little slice of heaven. The location is idyllic – a tiny charming village close to the most beautiful places in the Cotswolds and a 20 minutes drive from everything ( walks, pubs, bookshops, grocery shops). The neighbours and the host were very helpful and reactive.

Beautiful, cosy cottage with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Lovely garden space at the front and back was perfect for the children. We had a wonderful time cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and enjoying time together in the lovely living room areas. Definitely recommended.

The Cottage at Swerford is a dream. Beautifully furnished with everything we needed as a family with 3 children. It is idyllically situated in a small, historical place. It was the perfect place to discover the Cotswolds and to go to London every now and then. Communication with Short Let Space was very easy, pleasant and personable. We highly recommend both the Cottage and Short Let Space and would not hesitate to return!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a family holiday (we have three small children). Nestled in a wonderfully peaceful and stunningly beautiful corner of the Cotswolds – it only ever seemed 30 minutes max from everywhere we wanted to go. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and we hope to be back soon.

Spent three (very wet!) weeks here in March. Delightful cottage with very good amenities – the kitchen is especially well-equipped. Quiet and cozy in a perfectly bucolic setting. The only blemish was a central heating system that kept cutting out, leaving me at inconvenient times without heat or water when it was often very cold. The property manager was very responsive, however, and after failing to get it fixed the first time – despite her best efforts – quickly made sure it was repaired at the second attempt. All in all, a lovely and memorable stay in a beautiful place.

Lovely house in a beautiful idyllic Cotswold village, with other fantastic villages all around. Beautiful place to stay in sunny mid September, both when sitting in the front garden and just as wonderful in front of the fire at night. Delighted that it was available for our group of 5 adults and would definitely stay again if we get the chance.

We absolutely loved our stay! Not only was it one of our favorite Air BnB’s, so adorable and the perfect location, the host was also so accommodating and kind. I can’t recommend this place enough! It felt like a fairytale. So cozy, clean, the beds were incredibly comfy, and the ground were gorgeous! They also had a lot of games for our kids 🙂 perfect family stay!

This Airbnb is very special! We visited with my family of 5 and it was perfect! It’s extremely cozy but felt very up to date. We will definitely be back soon!

Absolutely gorgeous Cotswolds home in a quiet village. We were traveling with our family of 6, 4 small children, 9, 6, 4, and 2, and they did not want to leave! Spectacular yard. Very close to Chipping Norton, Daylesford, everything seemed 20 beautiful minutes by car.

Church End Cottage was the perfect spot for our family’s holiday. The cottage is completely charming and the quiet village of Swerford could not be more lovely.
