Ground Floor:
  • Living Room furnished with two sofas, flat screen television
  • Kitchen-Dining Room with dining table and seating for four. Door leads out into the garden
  • Kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven and hob, microwave and toaster. The kitchen has a lovely wood panelled feature wall
  • Stairs lead up to the first floor.
First Floor:
  • Bedroom one with king size double bed, plus wardrobe. There is no through traffic at the front of the house and it is very quiet.
  • Bedroom two is furnished with standard single size bed and wardrobe
  • Family bathroom with bath and shower over bath, WC and washbasin
Outside:
There is a small patio area at the rear of the home.

There is no allocated parking available and the nearby roadside parking is resident only. There are several short stay spaces nearby and the nearest main 24 hour car park is Worcester Street Car park which is 0.5 miles away.

Abbey Road is situated towards the end of a quiet no through road. The River Thames flows past the end of the road. Getting away from City life is just as simple from this property as it is located close to the Canal and the Thames where you can walk or cycle and take in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. This is a quiet residential area. Oxford city is a 10-15 minute walk from the property.

This short stay apartment in Oxford is in a fantastic location for easy access to the city centre. Just a short 15 minute walk will bring you onto Cornmarket Street, one of the main shopping streets in Oxford. This home couldn't be better placed for quick access to Oxford train station and the prestigious Said Business School which are both only three minutes walk away

Note that the rear facing single bedroom has a railway line about 200 metres away. There is some noise from passing trains but guest comments regarding this are rare.
Sorry but missing or lost keys are charged at £50 per key to cover cost of cutting and re-instating to the property.

Highly recommended! Victoria has always been responsive and helpful throughout our communication. The house matched the featured pictures. It’s warm even with the heather off, which was a big plus when Oxford was very cold for a couple of days. The location is good, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and walkable. It’s close to Thames/canal path, train station and Saïd Business School. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place. Nicely decorated, nice little garden, good back yard. If you visit soon (mid 2023), there’s some construction on the road and map apps might try to take you by a circuitous route. But it’s very simple! Just walk along the main road (Botley Rd) and turn onto [the street the house is on].

The house was clean, comfortable and convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed including a dishwasher and washing machine. The owner provided a change of linens as we were there for two weeks. There was even a small garden in back which was perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Cozy house, pleasant walking path following the canals and parks to the city center.

This premises on the Abbey Road is a cute house, old fashioned, but really cozy. One of the best things about the house is the location. It stands close to several water canals where small boats travel to and forth, protected by plenty of trees and greenery. Walking to the city center takes only 10 -15 minutes by following these water canals, which is a very pleasant path. All necessary amenities are completely available for you (and family) including equipment for cooking, washing, good internet connection etc. Few furniture may need repair but that’s minor to the joy we got from staying in the house.

The design and location – The design: in a classic and beautiful style, an old English house. Sweet little Khmer. Short to the city via Oxford’s magical canal and close to the Thames and the meadow. Also close to the train station.
