Compact yet comfortable mid-terrace apartment in central Oxford! Communications with the host were prompt and helpful throughout, thank you. The mid-terrace apartment is in a good, central location and is within walking distance of Oxford’s many attractions, eateries, and pubs. The gas central heating/hot water system was excellent, so the apartment was cozy and warm. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the duvets were warm. The kitchen was quite well-appointed, with a welcome pack of coffee, tea, biscuits etc. While the apartment is relatively small, the layout felt quite spacious. The lounge/snug room was a comfortable place to watch the TV/catch a movie. Condiments were also made available (not usually the case in my experience at AirBnB’s). I would be quite happy to visit the property again.
Short Let Space was very helpful and responsive with me extending my stay. The place was fairly basic but had everything you need. Currently, the location isn’t great due to loud construction nearby, however once that’s done, it’d be very convenient as it’s located right next to the train station. Overall, the stay was great for the price!
MadelynThis was an ideal location that was walking distance to Oxford University and most other places. It is a short walk to the train station, so we were able to take several day train trips to other locations, such as London, Bath, Cardiff, and Stratford upon Avon. We took a tour that left Oxford to the Cotswolds, which we would highly recommend. We also loved walking along the canal which is nearby.

NoamHighly recommended! Victoria has always been responsive and helpful throughout our communication. The house matched the featured pictures. It’s warm even with the heather off, which was a big plus when Oxford was very cold for a couple of days. The location is good, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and walkable. It’s close to Thames/canal path, train station and Saïd Business School. We enjoyed our stay.

TamaraLovely place. Nicely decorated, nice little garden, good back yard. If you visit soon (mid 2023), there’s some construction on the road and map apps might try to take you by a circuitous route. But it’s very simple! Just walk along the main road (Botley Rd) and turn onto [the street the house is on].

This premises on the Abbey Road is a cute house, old fashioned, but really cozy. One of the best things about the house is the location. It stands close to several water canals where small boats travel to and forth, protected by plenty of trees and greenery. Walking to the city center takes only 10 -15 minutes by following these water canals, which is a very pleasant path. All necessary amenities are completely available for you (and family) including equipment for cooking, washing, good internet connection etc. Few furniture may need repair but that’s minor to the joy we got from staying in the house.

The design and location – The design: in a classic and beautiful style, an old English house. Sweet little Khmer. Short to the city via Oxford’s magical canal and close to the Thames and the meadow. Also close to the train station.
