Dairy Lodge is a lovely property. It is clean, warm and comfortable. It is well equipped with everything you would need. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. It is within easy reach of Blenheim Palace and Woodstock by car. There is ample parking for two cars. Tom and Jane were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is picturesque.

Just what we needed and a very lovely place, but I think it could do with a deep clean behind the beds etc. but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Gorgeous location!

Ticked every box, thank you! It felt like being at home, it was cosy and had a lovely feel about it. It was also divine to walk through the house with heated floors and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The owners were also delightful and so very kindly gave us some after eight dinner mints

Fantastic, new converted barn in a secluded location in Oxfordshire. Close (by car) to loads to do on your doorstep in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Place was fantastic, would highly recommend to people visiting the area. The owners live next door and are super friendly and helpful!

Brilliant little cottage, so warm and comfortable! Great location too being able to walk into the grounds of the Blenheim estate was amazing. It’s also close to Hanborough station for direct trains to London and a short stroll to the very friendly village pub.

We had a lovely week at Dairy Cottage. The cottage is a recent barn conversion so feels like a new build. The cottage is adjacent to the owners house sharing the same gravel driveway with wooden gate and feels very safe and secure. There is a private back garden which looks over open fields which is very pleasant to look out to from the open plan living room and kitchen. I enjoyed very much talking to the owners Tom and Jane. The property is managed by a 3rd party Short Let Space who provided all essential information for our stay. However they didn’t respond when we reported a lack of forks and tumblers – only 3 of each. Otherwise the kitchen had everything we needed. There is no dishwasher but that didn’t bother us. We found the location excellent to explore the Cotswolds. We enjoyed visits and running in the grounds of Blenheim Palace (5 mins walk), Oxford (using Park & Ride) and Bletchley Park (1 hr drive) which was fascinating. We will definitely return.

Lovely, quiet location in the center of the village looking out into fields. A short walk to Blenheim Park and the village pub. Easy access to buses at Woodstock (can walk across the park to Woodstock for lunch and shopping). Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxford. Lovely cottage inside and out

Peaceful village stay close to main sights.
We booked last minute and didn’t expect to find anything too flash last minute over the Bank Holiday weekend but Dairy Lodge was an unexpected gem. A lovely, roomy 2 bedroom stone cottage with a big kitchen and living area, outdoor seating area and back garden, it was spotless, stylish and comfortable in every way. It’s self contained so we were able to cook 2 nights. The village itself is an historical must-see for anyone interested in the Churchills and the Dukes of Marlborough being the resting place at St Martin’s Church of Winston, his family and various Dukes of Marlborough. The village of Bladon is also an easy walk by road or through Blenheim Park to the Palace and the little town of Woodstock with its cafes, pubs and shops. Bladon is also a central jump off point by car to the Cotswolds generally, the park and drive for Oxford and Hanborough train station for the train from London. We were sorry to say goodbye to Dairy Lodge and would stay again. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Dairy Lodge in between house moves with my three children and it couldn’t have been the nicer. Beautiful place, beautiful setting and the owners were lovely. They had dogs and were more than happy for my animal mad girls to play with them! They also brought us chocolates on the first night, so kind. The lodge was clean, with everything you require for the stay. If you have never been to that area before, it is gorgeous, lovely walks and a short distance into beautiful Woodstock. I would wholeheartedly recommend this listing and might even escape with my husband for quiet weekend away soon!

This property is located af the edge of the quiet village of Bladon, overlooking a field. An excellent location to visit Oxford, Blenheim and the cotswolds. In the morning the sun lights up the garden and back of the house, while in the evening the sunlight comes through the kitchen windows. It is very rich in atmosphere. The place is brand new. And very spacious and comfortable. It comes fully equipped. It’s very clean. The beds are large enough for tall people and sleep comfortable. It’s easy to leave daily life behind and feel you actually live in the English countryside. What makes it have ‘heart’ though is the friendly owners who make you feel welcome and at home. And will help you out with finding the gems in the neighborhood. All in all: we really look forward to our next stay!
