The Conifer Studio

A rejuvenating oasis, minutes from the heart of bustling Oxford. The studio is stunning, thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, smartly ventilated and well heated. Tina is an absolute gem: welcoming, kind, and truly adorable. A wonderful experience from start to finish. With beautiful experiences comes great demand. I truly wish I had booked a longer stay, I didn’t want to leave. While the owners are wonderfully accommodating, the popularity of this place means extending your visit isn’t always possible. Book generously- you’ll thank yourself later.

I stayed here while I had some studying to do in Oxford and it was the perfect place! I was sent a welcome pack from the host prior to my arrival, containing useful information about the property, how to get there, and contact numbers for the two hosts. I thought that was great, super handy! I felt very welcomed on arrival, I was met by Gerard, who was nice and friendly, he gave me a tour of the property, showed me how everything worked, and ensured I had all I needed for my stay. The property was lovely, you can really tell how much time and effort the hosts put into keeping the property clean and well-maintained, down to every last detail. It looked just like the pictures, if not better, and it had a very homely feel. I had no issues during my stay, so I didn’t need to contact the hosts until it came time to arrange my check out, but when I did, the hosts were very responsive and gave me clear instructions on what to do when I had to leave. 100% would book again!

This was absolutely ideal for what I needed. Sadly my partner was rushed to the JR and we are not local. Tina was really welcoming and kind even with my late arrival. This felt like a home away from home. Had everything I could possibly need to cook a few quick evening meals. There was coffee, biscuits, cooking essentials supplied and Tina even got some milk in for me. The place was incredibly clean and so cosy. A haven to come back to after worrying days.

It is as advertised. Felt at home. Wonderful natural light. It’s got all the amenities that one needs and the location is just 10 minutes away by bus from Said business school. It’s also in a lovely neighborhood with shops a 5-10 minute walk away.

A great, cosy, and comfortable space in a quiet residential neighbourhood, about a 30-40 minute walk from the city centre. Easy access to the bus stop and grocery shops. I love staying at the Conifer studio when I am visiting Oxford and great hosts too.

I like the Shortlet Space Team for their thoughtfulness and responsiveness via email or phone, and I wish I had discovered them sooner over the last two years I have been in and out of Oxford.

Everything was equipped, so I had a comfortable stay. It was comfortable, clean, and much better than the photos. I stayed because my daughter’s dormitory was nearby, and I intend to visit again.

I spent 5 weeks at the lovely Conifer Studio with the best hosts one could imagine. Christine made me feel like home as I missed nothing. The bathroom is modern and the living space is cosy. The cleaners were always on time and come as often as one wishes. I highly recommended the Conifer Studio for everyone as the public transportation into Oxford’s city center is excellent and grocery shops are nearby and can be reached via foot.

Excellent place to stay within minutes from the city centre. The property had excellent insulation from light (no eye masks needed) when the numerous blinds were used, and was very quiet throughout. Tina and Gerard were also very hospitable hosts. I would definitely stay again!

The studio was gorgeous and so modern and so immaculate, colourful and well designed, The owner had gone to great lengths to ensure everything was perfect. The experience was very warm and cosy. Also was nice to look at the lovely sun flower outside on the seat.

Tina, as a host is one of the best I’ve come across all my stays through Air B&B. Her warm hospitality makes you so comfortable and instantly at home. The apartment, though ,small is fully equipped with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to whoever wants to have a peaceful and relaxed stay . Connectivity to Oxford is very good as the bus station is right down the street.

This tiny studio was the perfect place for my solo trip of 3 weeks, traveling alone to Oxford. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was small but functional, and the kitchenette was well-equipped with basic cooking supplies. The only downside was that the space did get a little dusty, but that’s to be expected in such a small space. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay in Oxford. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs, and eye mask since the blinds still let in some sunlight, and it’s never fully dark! The hosts, Christine and Gerard were always the nicest and understanding! If I were to go back to Oxford I would most definitely stay there again.
