Christine - Feb 2025 - VRBO

A pleasant home in a great location!
My cousin and I went to Oxford to visit her daughter, who is studying abroad there for a semester. The check-in process was one of the easiest I’ve encountered, and everything we could have needed was provided for our stay. The home is a short walk to the train station and the downtown area, but far enough from everything to be nice and peaceful. We weren’t able to make use of the back yard due to the weather, but it was a very nice private spot for those who are traveling in a warmer season. I would happily return to this home if I were to stay in Oxford again.

Ida - Feb 2025 - Short Let Space

Will definitely look up this place again if ever we are in Oxford. Complete amenities and within walking distance to the train station.

Cintain - Dec 2024 - Air B&B

Nice, cozy space with lots of character. It’s ideally located in terms of closeness to city centre and attractions. Layout is what one would expect from these sort of properties, but the second bathroom located behind the kitchen was a bit of a faff. My one other minor complaint was the nighttime noise from drunken people cavorting outside on Saturday night. It was non-stop and really scary at times. Other than that, great location and well-maintained old building. Would stay again.

It was a clean house, which was very close to the train station and 10 minutes walk from the castle. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

This nice house is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, but it also has a convenient location. It’s an easy walk to the university, to the train station, and to plenty of restaurants and stores.

It was a great place, very nice and cosy. I was happy to found this place and it was in between the bus station and my work. The check in was easy as i just get the key from the box just like my home. They let me check in early and everything was clean. Great stay.

We came to Oxford to visit our daughter studying there, so were looking for a convenient location to central Oxford. This was walkable to just about everywhere we wanted to go, and was extremely convenient to the bus and train. The closure of Botley Rd. was a bit of a pain, but only in terms of getting a taxi, nothing else. It was less than a 5 min walk to the station for pick up and drop off when needed. The property itself was great for our group of three. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the house was soundproof, with little to no noise from adjoining properties, and only from outside when we had our windows open. We especially appreciated the abundance of coat hooks in the entry, as due to the changeable winter weather we kept a variety of jackets, coats and boots on hand. We had one tiny issue when we first arrived with something that had been accidentally switched off and the property company and the owner were extremely responsive and we had it resolved within the hour. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay in Oxford and I would definitely stay here again.

Great place & location within short walking distance to Oxford town. The host was responsive. Really appreciate on the fan that was sent over as we didn’t expected it. It sure was a lovely gesture as it’s summer but the weather ended up as the total opposite!

Good location – everything under the hand. If you sleep in the bedroom with a backyard window, it is quiet.

We felt very comfortable. Despite the proximity to the train station, it was very quiet and extremely comfortable for two. The communication was very straightforward.

This house is well-equipped and feels quite spacious. There is not much noise from the road or the railway. Everything works well, including the heating/hot-water system, and the beds are unusually comfortable. Parking is a problem, but Seacourt Park & Ride is not far away and only costs £4 a day (currently).
