Had the most wonderful stay at Port Meadow View with my family. The home is beautiful, clean, and well appointed with everything we needed to feel like home for our 10-day stay. The back garden and patio are divine, so we cooked and ate dinner outside on several nights and I enjoyed sitting there to read. The beds are incredibly comfortable and we slept soundly. It was great having the local convenience store just across the street and we also enjoyed visiting the local Wolvercote pubs! Although not a problem for our 6 and 8 year old children, one of the three bedrooms is on the top floor and the stairs are quite steep and narrow, which could be difficult for some guests to navigate. Truly a gem if you’re looking to stay just outside the Oxford City Centre. We’ve already recommended this home to several friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Oxford. The house met all our needs, spacious, elegant and spotlessly clean. The bus into town every 15 minutes across the road was a lifesaver allowing us to avoid the traffic. We also enjoyed the lovely walks locally. A perfect base for an Oxford and surrounds holiday.

Our stay was perfectly fine . It’s a nice house with spacious living area on a ground floor , two bedrooms on the first floor and the third one (which we honestly liked the most ) is on the second floor . Kitchen is quite big with a big gas stove . Garden is beautiful. We were having a rainy English weather during our stay but I’m sure it is stunning during summer . Check in is easy, and parking is right in front of the house . Our point of contact was Mandie , who was very responsive and helpful and gave us a plenty of options to dine in. We enjoyed the food in the Place called the Perch a lot . The food is to die for . For sure will stay there again once in Oxford .
