The Evenlode is a charming and tastefully furnished one bedroom apartment located conveniently between Oxford, Kidlington, Banbury and Bicester. The apartment comprises of a double bedroom, open plan living-dining-kitchen and bathroom. There is parking for one vehicle. The apartment and location provide an excellent base for short term rental of a few days, or an extended stay of many weeks or months if you are require relocation or temporary accommodation in the area.

Description

The Evenlode is situated in a quiet side street approximately one kilometre from Oxford-London Airport. The sleeping arrangements consist of a double bed in the bedroom and two pull down single beds in the living room. If you are a party of three or more guests and require the pull down beds, then there is an additional charge of £50.00 for the bed linen for the single beds. This helps us keep the nightly rate low for when there are only two guests

-Bed linen (bedroom and bathroom linen comprising of bed sheets, blankets and towels).

-Regular linen change if your stay is longer than 10 nights.
-Complimentary welcome pack including; Sachets of tea and coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets (in properties where a dishwasher is available), additional bin bag, kitchen and bathroom cleaning product, tea towel, kitchen sponge and pan scourer. Enough to get you started.

Outside Area

There is a private courtyard which is a lovely sitting area on sunny days. There is also a large communal green area at the front of the home.

Parking

There is a private parking space available for one car or small van. The parking space is not suitable for larger vans such as Transit vans. There is additional parking three minutes walk away for guests and larger vehicles.

The Neighbourhood

The Evenlode is located in Kidlington. Kidlington is a large village in Oxfordshire, England, located approximately 5 miles north of Oxford. It is well-connected and notable for its proximity to key locations such as Oxford Airport, and Begbroke Science Park, a centre for cutting-edge research and innovation. The village combines a vibrant local community with convenient access to the surrounding countryside and urban amenities, making it an appealing location for residents and businesses alike.

The picturesque south Oxford canal is less than a mile away with several great pubs along the route (The Jolly Boatman & The Boat Inn are our favourites). Also check out Annie's Tea Room in nearby Thrupp where you can also hire a canoe or kayak. Kidlington town centre is 1.5 miles away where you will find most amenities.

There is a Beefeater pub/restaurant a 5 min walk away offering food all day. The nearest supermarket is a Co-op Local about a mile away. The S7 bus at the top of the road takes you to Blenheim Palace, Oxford centre, Witney & Oxford Parkway rail station.

Non-refundable deposit of 15% required at time of booking.
Balance is payable 28 days before check in.
Non-refundable balance payable if cancellation is less than 28 days before check in.

Additional notes

-The nearby airport services private small planes only, but there may be occasional limited amount of aircraft noise when you are outside of the property. This cannot be heard from within the home.
-Sorry but missing or lost keys are charged at £50 per key to cover cost of cutting and re-instating to the property.
-Only named guests are allowed access to the home. If someone has booked on your behalf, please ensure that they have given all of your details.

A nice and quiet place just outside Oxford city. The apartment was quite well connected by bus to either oxford city or nearby towns such as Kidlington and Woodstocks. You can also easily reach the Bicester village for shopping experience by bus and train from Oxford Parkway. PS: The kitchen was very well equipped.
