Windrush Cottage is a picturesque two bedroom home situated in the village of Long Hanborough which is on the edge of The Cotswolds and eight miles from the city of Oxford. The cottage overlooks a stunning view of the fields, walks and farmland of the Blenheim Estate.

The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and has two comfortable living rooms for guests to relax in furnished with comfortable sofas and easy chairs, TVs and one of the living rooms has a door that leads out to the south facing conservatory where there is a dining table for up to eight people, the conservatory has gorgeous views of the private garden. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you would need for a long or short stay, including plenty of workspace for cooking and chinaware. The cottage has a utility room with washbasin, washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC.

Ascent the stairs to the first floor where you will find the bedrooms and family bathroom. Bedroom one has stunning views over Blenheim Park and is furnished with a standard double bed and ample storage for your belongings. Bedroom two is furnished with two single beds, ample storage space and has stunning views over Blenheim Park. The family bathroom is bright and features a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

Windrush Cottage benefits from a large south facing, secluded garden with dining table and chairs, making it the ideal place to relax with the family after a busy day of exploring. The home has one off-road parking space and additional road side parking. We do welcome one well behaved dog.

The cottage is one mile from a local supermarket and a short walk to the nearest pub. The Hanborough train station about two hundred metres walk away which is a mainline to Oxford and London Paddington.

  • Living room with three seater sofa, Coffee Table, easy chairs and smart TV with door leading into a south facing conservatory.
  • Second living room with two seater sofa, easy chairs, coffee table and smart TV.
  • South facing conservatory with dining table and chairs for up to eight people. The conservatory is bathed in light and looks out over the expansive private garden.
  • Fully fitted kitchen with oven and induction hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, chinaware and cooking utensils. There is plenty of workspace for food preparation.
  • Utility room with wash basin, washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • Bathroom with WC.
  • Steep stairs lead up to the first floor.
First Floor:
  • Bedroom one is a double bedroom with standard double bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside table. Views over Blenheim Park.
  • Bedroom two is a twin bedroom with two single beds, built-in wardrobe, bedside table. Views over Blenheim Park.
