My family stayed here for a week and we were completely happy with what the host could offer. It’s easy to travel to the Summertown or Oxford Center, the bus stops is just a few steps away. From there we can easily go to Bicester village, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-water (Costworlds) as well. The place is clean, spacious, private and very easy to check in. Communications was smooth and timely, too. We’d love to come back if we ever visit Oxford again.

We were very comfortable. The house only shook a lot when a large vehicle passed by 🙂
It was a good experience for us. I would recommend it.

The Spencer Suite exceeded our expectations and needs. The space was clean and well-equipped. And — which proved very useful for us — it is conveniently located: the heart of Summertown, with its shops and eateries is nearby. We also much appreciated the responsive and helpful communication with the hosts. Would stay again!
This is an excellent apartment. The facilities are very good and of high quality. The apartment was exceptionally clean. Having a parking space on site is an added bonus. Our one problem was not being able to make the place warm (and we stayed at a very cold and frosty time). There were no instructions or obvious thermostat to enable us to change the temperature. However, we are regular visitors to Oxford and this is the best apartment we’ve stayed in and we will be staying again!

It was a great apartment house that perfectly suited the purpose of our couple who wanted to relax while cooking with our child. It was on the second floor, but the stairwell was very spacious and tidy, and the house’s kitchen, living room, bedroom, and shower room were impeccably great spaces. It’s a place I want to stay again next time.
The apartment is nice, clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with everything we need. The location is great. One minute walk the bus stop where we can go to city center in 20 minutes by bus. Summertown is just 15 minutes walk from the apartment. The staff are super nice and responsive.
Very nice and spacious apartment in the most beautiful part of Oxford. The building is very nice and is conveniently situated next to the bus stop. The neighborhood is very quiet. Beds are super comfortable and the apartment has all the amenities for a comfortable. Cleanliness was good although there were some spider webs on the radiators and the windows. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a comfortable, long stay in a nice part of Oxford.

Excellent property, excellent host!
This is an excellent flat in a very good part of town. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the summertown shops and very well connected to the city centre and the train station by bus. The flat itself stayed fairly cool in the heat and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The staff were also very friendly and responsive – highly recommended for business travellers, visitors, and families (like ours)!
This was a fantastic location for our stay in Oxford. We loved the proximity to Summertown and all the restaurants and shops in the area. And such a quick drive into Oxford too. The apartment was compact but ideal for our short stay. It was very clean and easy to check in. Thank you for having us.

Great location
The room was newly renovated and clean.
Really well equipped kitchen: proper cooker and decent oven, microwave, fridge and freezer (latter not in the property description), and a wide range of cooking implements and pans. The lounge area was comfortable and modern. The location was close enough to walk into Oxford City centre (and on a good bus route) but easily accessed from the A40 and M40 even at peak times. Communication from Vanbrugh was clear and the pictures showing parking and recycling very good.
This property is an ideal base for those wanting to explore Oxford and the surrounding area. The apartment has everything you need you make it an awesome base for your travels.
Very nice kitchen for those evenings where eating out has lost its appeal. One thing I would say for those who maybe taller, watch the slope in the ceilings if you stay in number 5. Not a complaint just an FYI if taller than normal.

Very clean. Was quiet and safe for my 1 year old to walk around. Had everything we needed for our stay and the apartment was nice and modern. There was parking onsite and wifi. And it was so close to oxford centre.
