Lovely cottage in a great location. Parking was not outside but close enough to not be too inconvenient.

This cottage is stunning – warm, cosy and charming traditional feel (exposed brick and beams, log fire, gently creaking floorboards), whilst boasting an almost flawless modern kitchen and bathroom, all with immaculate cleaning and no clutter. Great design meant the whole thing felt totally cohesive; even with a toddler and a baby it was a joy to just be in the cottage. It felt so homely we barely wanted to walk out the door, but when we did, we discovered lovely country lanes and a treat at The White Horse pub 1min walk- nice Thai food and gorgeous interior, and good people. A real joy to stay. (Be advised you will likely need to drive to get around.)

The kitchen is very practical and very nicely furnished. Everything you would need from material is present. In addition, the cottage is also very authentic and cosy furnished which provides a very nice whole. The check-in was also very easy because you only had to know the code and it did not matter when you arrived. So you didn’t have to keep anyone informed about the time of arrival, so this already reduces stress on the day of arrival.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Bushnells Cottage. The house was very clean and well equipped and was perfect for two adults and our two young children. The cottage is full of beautiful features such as beams and exposed stone walls but with a modern kitchen and bathroom which seemed like new. We found the location perfect for our stay and enjoyed a visit to Rectory Farm and lunch in the large beer garden at the Abingdon Arms. Kelvin was a friendly and responsive host. We will definitely be back!

Kelvin was an excellent host, easy check in box, the place was more beautiful than I expected, clean, warm and tidy, big comfy bed, beautifully furnished, great place to be in to get away from it all for a bit (whilst still having close access to the city if need be), Thank you for my stay, would definitely recommend for sure!
