The Magdalen Arms Pub
The Magdalen Arms Pub is a neighbourhood favourite where they serve classic pub meals and make their own house foccacia. The pub has its very own shop emporium that is open during pub hours, selling their house focaccia, Italian and Spanish larder jars, dry pastas, biscuits, pickles and jams, herbs and olive oils.
They also have a flea market outside the pub on the first Saturday of each month, from 9.00am till 2.00pm which brings in lots of crowds.
It is a short bus ride into Oxford and walking distance into the city centre. It is very near Cowley road making this pub a great middle point location to stop for food between exploring. If you enjoy a walk after food, go visit Iffley meadows or Donnington bridge for a scenic walk along the River Thames.
They are wheelchair accessible from their back entrance.
Off street parking is available on the street and the neighbouring streets.
Be mindful that their menu is limited in vegan and vegetarian options.
