Green Routes Cafe
Green Routes Cafe, just off the Cowley Road in Oxford, is a plant based cafe and restaurant that serves up delicious brunch style food and pastries. If you are vegetarian or vegan or simply wanting to eat less meat then visit this cafe. They are known for their incredible pancakes with flavours from earl grey and orange, to spiced apple, to simple maple syrup. Their daily specials vary with the seasons and you can be sure to find fully loaded sandwiches and tater tots here.
They do pop up dinner events throughout the year where they open up again in the evening and team up with a small local business.
Aside from being a cafe they are a UK-based specialty roastery and put a lot of time and care into sourcing the best coffee to serve to customers.
To access the cafe there are frequent bus services that go into the city centre from Iffley Road or Cowley Road, or it is a 20 minute walk away. The Oxford Botanic gardens and Christ Church meadows are a walkable distance away from the cafe if you want to enjoy a lovely walk.
