Speechwriters’ & Business Communicators’ Conference
The European Speechwriter Network, in collaboration with the UK Speechwriters’ Guild, is hosting the 24th Oxford Speechwriters’ & Business Communicators’ Conference this March, at Exeter College, Oxford.
This event is designed for speechwriters and communication professionals at all levels, offering opportunities to learn from leading experts, enhance skills, and network with peers facing similar challenges.
The conference agenda includes:
- Pre-Conference Training: Two workshops led by experienced professionals
- Jessica Cunniffe MBE: “From Downing Street to the C-suite, De-mystifying the magic of memorable speeches.”
- John Zimmer: “Get your ideas across and make an impact!”
The conference Banquet taking place on March 27 features a three-course dinner in Exeter Colleges’ dining hall, featuring the Fred Metcalf Memorial Trophy competition for the best two-minute after-dinner speech.
Participants will gain insights into effective speech writing techniques, strategies for engaging multilingual audiences, and tips for managing speakers and working with interpreters.
