Oxford’s Christmas Light Festival is back for 2023. Share an exciting weekend of illuminations, installations and craft with friends and family from 17th – 19th November, with the official switch on of the Christmas lights on Saturday 19th November at 5.30pm.

Enjoy creative workshops, performances, exhibitions, music and markets as lights pop-up all over the city in a joyous celebration. Follow trails and parades in the city.

This year the programme expands further into the city’s neighbourhoods and celebrates the Art of Connectivity. In addition to events in central Oxford, there will be four main festival neighbourhood hubs at Rose Hill, Cowley, Blackbird Leys, and Cutteslowe. These local creative hubs will highlight partnerships between Oxford’s leading cultural organisations, community groups and residents.
