Feel like you’re in the blockbuster motion picture with a journey on the magical Polar Express.

This magical Christmas spectacle that takes you to the North Pole and back again starts at Cholsey and Wallingford Railway. Along the journey, you’ll meet all the beloved characters from the iconic film, including the conductor, some extremely talented chefs, a man no one seems to be able to see except you, and the jolly Mr Claus himself. Dressed in your pyjamas for the full experience, you and your whole family will love this theatrical extravaganza on board a steam train.

As you carry on further North, keep your eyes open for stray Caribou on the track as well as several other magical events, as well as sharing the original Polar Express tale read to you by the talented singing chefs. Feast on a tasty cookie and hot chocolate as you pull up to the home of Santa Claus. If you’re on his nice list, you’ll receive a beautiful silver sleigh bell to treasure forever. You’ll even get the chance to chat with Santa, get a photo, and perhaps even a copy of the book signed by him (if you bought one with your ticket).

Upon arriving home to Cholsey and Wallingford Railway, your journey isn’t over yet. Take a trip to Santa’s workshop where you can write him a letter, check who’s on the Nice and Nice List, and visit the gift shop for some additional treasures to remember your trip.
