February Half Term at Oxford Castle and Prison
DIG! at Oxford Castle & Prison is a fun, hands-on archaeological experience for children this February Half Term.
Young explorers can grab brushes and trowels to uncover real historical finds from the Castle grounds and learn how archaeologists study them. The activity is led by a costumed guide portraying Daniel Harris, the 18th-century governor of the Castle and Prison, making history come alive. Sessions run throughout the week and are ideal for curious kids aged 5-10. It’s a great way for families to discover history through interactive play!
This is the perfect family day out this February half term when staying in one of our Oxford homes.
