The Oxford Lodge is an exclusive six bedroom Oxford town house located just ten minutes walk from Oxford city centre and five minutes walk from Oxford railway station. The house comprises six en suite double rooms and a large living-dining-kitchen area, which can be used as a communal work space for collaborative working. The Oxford Lodge has a private, spacious patio area that is shared with all rooms within the property.

The property can be booked as a whole home or individual rooms. Sleeping up to six guests in single occupancy rooms or up to 12 in shared rooms. Each room has its own digital room lock providing security for all guests.

The Oxford Lodge is ideal for private groups who require dedicated accommodation with a shared living space and private rooms. Additional concierge services can be provided such as daily housekeeping.

  • The Oxford Lodge Oriel Room (Room one) is a ground floor en-suite room with double bed, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • The Oxford Lodge Merton Room (Room two) is a first floor en-suite room with king size bed, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • The Oxford Lodge Pembroke Room (Room three) is a first floor en-suite room with double bed, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • The Oxford Lodge Balliol Room (Room four) is a first floor en-suite room with double bed, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • The Oxford Lodge Exeter Room (Room five) is a second floor en-suite room with double bed, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • The Oxford Lodge Wadham Room (Room six) is a second floor en-suite room with a super king size bed that can be split into two singles, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
  • Spacious kitchen with large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and ironing board for communal use
  • Dining area with tables and chairs.

The Neighbourhood

The Oxford Lodge is located just 0.5 of a mile from Oxford city centre. It is within easy walking distance of the train station, city centre, Saïd Business School and Oxford colleges. Just across from the Oxford Lodge there is a large Waitrose supermarket which is especially convenient.

There is also a local parade of shops nearby offering produce, a wide array of fruit and vegetables, delicatessen, sandwiches and hot drinks, and a bicycle shop that offers tandems for hire. There are many fantastic pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and the beautiful local countryside is ideal for walkers or runners.

There is convenient access to the city centre (0.5 of a mile), and a bus stop 50 metres from Oxford Lodge with regular bus services across Oxford and to local villages and towns.

Great place and a very helpful owner. The house is renovated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. Each room has its own separate bathroom. There’s also a nice living room and garden. Highly recommended.

A real hidden gem in Oxford. Beautifully appointed property. Exceptionally clean and superbly maintained. Well designed rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous back garden. The owner is charming, extremely attentive and very considerate of privacy. I’d happily return for another visit

The Oxford lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The living room is fully equipped everything a person would need, and each cabinet is labeled to show what items are inside. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host, Lynton, was really kind. I would definitely recommend it.

The house was very modern, clean, spacious and in an excellent location! We had 12 people for a family wedding so each person had a room with their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and each room had a refrigerator and pot to make coffee/ tea. The owner was very helpful and stopped in periodically. I would highly recommend the Oxford Lodge!!!!

My stay at the Oxford Lodge was lovely. The facilities were fantastic with a fridge and kettle in each room. The communal kitchen area was a great way to meet people. Conveniently located a short walk away from the station, I would highly recommend the Oxford lodge for short or long-term stays in this wonderful city!

The room is immaculate and beautiful with all new high specification fixtures and fittings. The owner Lynton is extremely kind and responsive to all requests. He immediately brought over a new high quality fan at the start of heat wave. There is a lovely & peaceful garden area at the back. The kitchen / dining room is like a luxury show house from Homes and Gardens magazine. The property is ideally located with a Waitrose just across the street and a short walk to city centre. It’s about 20-30 minutes leisurely walk over to Jericho. Very close to Said Business School. The room itself is super quiet and there is a lovely aspect window. Overall I was thrilled with the accommodation and haven’t slept that well in a while.

Lynton is really lovely and the place is super clean and comfortable! The location is great (not far from train station, right opposite Waitrose and next to an adorable fruit and veg stall with the most delicious summer strawberries) and there’s a beautiful kitchen and living space that opens out to a very nice garden! Would 100% recommend staying, and perfect for longer stays!

We stayed here with some friends, it was a good location to get into Oxford town centre however the only negative was no parking on site and so we had to pay for a car park spot the whole stay. Otherwise it was all great, v clean, nice furnishings and all bedrooms had bathroom en suites!

A lovely lodge just 20mins walk from Oxford. Great if you’re there in business. Felt a little like a super smart student house as all the doors are fire doors and each room had a key pad for locking. Otherwise would recommend!
