National Trust Properties

When: Various Dates in April

The National Trust has several properties in the Cotswolds including Dyrham Park, Woodchester Park, and Chedworth Roman Villa. Across these properties, most will host an Easter-themed event.

So get the whole family together and go to Hidcote Gardens for their Easter trail or uncover the hidden eggs at Snowshill Manor. As well as these easter events, you’ll also get to explore these magnificent properties

Big Batsford Bunny Hunt

When: 5th April – 5th May

Spend the day at Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre and help find the Easter Bunny’s helpers to win a prize. Tickets cost £3 per child plus general admission fees for both children and accompanying adults. Pre-booking for this event is recommended to avoid disappointment. 

Easter Egg Hunt at The Slaughters Country Inn

When: 20th April

Wander through the picturesque gardens, following a trail of cleverly crafted clues that lead to hidden treasures, promising excitement and wonder for the young and the young-at-heart alike. After the egg hunt excitement, continue the festivities with a scrumptious meal or a well-deserved. Food will also be available on the day from The Field Kitchen.

Over Farm‘s Spring Spectacular

When: 12th April – 27th April

Get ready for a blooming brilliant day out at our Gloucester farm park, Countryside Adventure. Introducing their brand new Easter holidays kids event near Gloucester, The Spring Spectacular, where music, games, and laughter are in full bloom!

Children’s Easter Craft at Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway 

When: 12th April – 20 April

Enjoy children’s Easter craft activities, where young imaginations can run wild and families can create cherished memories together. These activities in conjunction with Larkswold.

Let your children explore their artistic talents by making easter baskets and paper flowers, pom pom chicks and much more. Take part in the Easter egg hunt on platform 2. Don’t forget the children’s playground on platform 2 too. The perfect free event for the little ones this Easter.

Code-Cracking Easter Treasure Hunt at Eastnor Castle

When: 13th April – 27th April

Become an EGGspert code breaker at Eastnor Castle with the return of its popular Easter treasure hunt. Giving families a ‘cracking’ way to discover the impressive castle and its grounds, treasure hunters can have lots of fun searching high and low for clues and solving puzzles.
