National Trust Properties

When: 23rd March to 16th April

The National Trust has several properties in the Cotswolds including Dyrham Park, Woodchester Park, and Chedworth Roman Villa. Across these properties, most will host an Easter-themed event. 

So get the whole family together and go to Hidcote Gardens for their Easter trail or uncover the hidden Cadbury’s eggs at Snowshill Manor. As well as these easter events, you’ll also get to explore these magnificent properties. 

Big Batsford Bunny Hunt

When: 23rd March to 7th April

Spend the day at Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre and help find the Easter Bunny’s helpers to win a prize. Tickets cost £3 per child plus general admission fees for both children and accompanying adults. Pre-booking for this event is recommended to avoid disappointment. 

Easter Open Day at The Cotswolds Cats & Dogs Home

When: 30th March

Treat yourself and your children to an open day they’ll never forget. Join the fun with an egg-citing Easter egg hunt, crafts, cakes, and a tombola. You might even get to give some much-loved cats and dogs that small amount of attention they deserve.

Over Farm

When: 23rd March to 1st April

If you’re visiting the Cotswolds with small children this Easter, then a trip to Over Farm is in order. Their Easter Eggstravaganza makes for the perfect family-friendly day out. You’ll be able to meet the Easter Bunny, participate in a farm-themed Easter egg hunt, get your body moving in an Easter Bunny dance class, and take home a prize. 

Easter Activities at Westonbirt Arboretum

Westonbirt Arboretum has plenty of fun trails to explore no matter the time of year and Easter is no exception. Collect a colour palette and scavenger hunt upon arrival and see how many spring colours you can uncover along your walk. You’ll also learn interesting facts about the pollinators that ensure these beautiful flowers return year after year. 

Easter at Ninja Warrior UK

When: 25th March to 5th April

Looking for a thrilling Easter event in the Cotswolds? Help burn off your children’s energy and develop their impressive ninja skills at Ninja Warrior UK Gloucester. This exciting obstacle course is suitable for all ages and offers obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty. 

Get climbing, balancing, swinging, and jumping as you get the adrenaline pumping. This is the ultimate day out for both adults and children alike. Tickets are from £13 for children aged 5 and up and the course will be open every day of the Easter school holidays.
