Chesil Theatre is Winchester’s leading amateur theatre, renowned for performing high quality productions, ranging from comedy to classics.

Chesil Theatre, formed as Winchester Dramatic Society, has been providing entertainment since 1863. In 1966 our home was established in the former 12th century church of St Peter Chesil. This historic medieval listed building provides an intimate 75-seat studio-style theatre and versatile performance space.
