Charlbury is is a lovely Cotswold market town situated in the Evenlode Valley in West Oxfordshire. The town is surrounded by the ancient Wychwood Forest and is a fantastic area for walking. The vibrant market towns of Chipping Norton and Woodstock are nearby and Oxford is less than a 40 minute drive away. The quintessential Cotswold towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Morton-in-Marsh are all less than a half hour drive away. London is easily accessible via train, with direct trains from Charlbury Station to Paddington taking just over an hour. Very spacious and well equipped.
Boiler wasn't working when we arrived but managed to get it restarted. Needs a Bluetooth speaker or similar.

Great place! Very relaxing and artistic. We loved how spacious, bright, airy, modern and artistic it was, with homely touches too etc plants, pictures, hooks etc. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was warm and the heating worked well. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. It was so quiet as if we were in the middle of the country. The online manual was so thorough and helpful, with the pictures and videos too. It was a lovely touch to have the hospitality tray with drinks and lovely biscuits, which we enjoyed. We also appreciated the milk which was in the fridge and 2 pints, not just a one pint bottle!!
