Stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. Easy to check in. Beautiful location very peaceful and a short drive to main shops and not far to drive to other popular towns. Everything was as described, there were a few cobwebs but what would you expect it didn’t bother us. Overall was the perfect place to stay when visiting The Cotswold’s if was going again would definitely consider this place to stay.
Really enjoyable stay in a great location!
Lovely, cosy place that was spotless, very private, quiet. Lovely walks around the village as provided by the local guides box in the living room. Fantastic food in the Red Lion inn – a 5 minute walk away! The host – Lesley, greeted us with some picked flowers which was a lovely touch. If we were in the area in the future, we would definitely stay again. Many thanks!
TonyLovely and relaxing space, looks even better than the photos. Really enjoyed our stay!
ZinaThe location was good, the small garden, the clear and informative check-in information.
VeronikaExtremely warm & cosy, the fireplace was a wonderful touch to the property and all the facilities in the barn were absolutely top tier. There simply isn’t anything not to like, it was amazing!
AlperReally great place and lovely host. Enjoyed our stay.
BeckyThis barn was fab, perfect for a few days in the Cotswolds. We were so happy with the place and would definitely stay again. I would have liked there to be a blind on the bathroom window! Other than that there was nothing that we would have changed.
EllaWe loved staying in this typical cottage very well located in the Cotswolds. We had a hard time finding it but I called the emergency number where I had a very nice lady on the phone who guided me to the accommodation. We recommend it with great pleasure.
ChristelleWe liked it so much last year that we returned on the anniversary of our first visit this year. The bed in the loft is gigantic and very comfy. Say no more!
HowardWe spend 10 wonderful relaxing days in the Wedgewood barn, discovering the Cotswolds, enjoying the very comfortable and large bed, inspiring architecture and inner design of the barn; we found a few cobwebs and dust on arrival and saw some potential to foster the rear yard as a sunny breakfast spot. No doubt we would recommend the Wedgewood barn – as well as the bars and restaurants nearby, Red Lion, Straw Café, Pit Kitchen and Herd.
UlrichGreat stay, beautiful barn. Would recommend!
AlastairQuirky, private and peaceful in a beautiful garden setting is the best way to describe Wedgewood Barn. Lots of character, a well equipped kitchen and very friendly helpful owner who helped us sort out our internet and the trick to locking the front door. She also gave lots of valuable advice on places to visit It was a spacious and comfortable base from which to explore the many beautiful Cotswolds villages. The stairs to the loft bedroom are steep and narrow and would not suit anyone with mobility issues. The bed is actually on the floor as the beams are quite low and you may spot a cobweb or two. There is a beautiful pub in the village just a nine minute walk away but we also enjoyed preparing our own meals and were able to sit in the garden to eat and enjoy the birdsong.
DeborahFantastic place to stay in the Cotswolds.
KimVery easy check in and extremely responsive with any questions. Lovely surroundings and a perfect getaway to the countryside. Would highly recommend.
JosephAn amazing place to spend your holiday! The property is amazing, so cosy and the location is very good, a piece of heaven.
MateiBoth the inside and outside of the house are incredible. The house has a good structure if you want to cook, wash clothes, and a comfortable living room. The garden outside is incredible. The house is close to the Red Lion restaurant, where we went for two days. We had dinner on Friday and lunch on Sunday! I recommend making a reservation on Sunday. The food there is incredible. On Sunday, we took a pottery class, which was also really cool! It’s a great place to relax.
VanessaWe had a very nice stay at The Wedgewood Barn. It’s situated in a lovely little village, with a very nice pub a short walk down the road. The barn was clean and had everything you could need, kitchen wise. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Me and my partner found this beautiful place to stay for a short weekend away. The place was beautiful and it had everything we need. We felt right at home straight away. Only thing we found difficult, were the stairs as they are quite steep, but other than that. Its a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommended this accommodation.
Cutest cottage!
LilaHad the most lovely stay very chilled out able to fully relax in front of the fire. Was able to take a short walk to the local pub for dinner Bedtime was fun navigating the stairs!
SuzanneBeautiful part of the Cotswolds and a beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed our 3 night stay and it had everything you needed. Stairs to bedroom were as stated very steep and would be difficult for some people. Really enjoyed our stay.
NicoloPerfect for a weekend getaway!
Perfect for a weekend getaway!
SimonShort Let Space’s staff were really helpful and the instructions were really easy to follow. I would recommend to stay here but I would also say the stairs were very steep and the barn is connected to the house however it did look exactly like the pictures and the location was great.
The Wedgewood Barn was a perfect bolt hole for a few days away, the property had everything we needed and we very much enjoyed whiling away the hours in front of the log fire. Would highly recommend the local Pub/Restaurant the Red Lion but do book in advance.
Lovely spot, with all the amenities. the pub just down the road is very nice and the host was very helpful and responsive.
WillReally enjoyed our stay over New Year’s Eve. Would highly recommend.
HannahFabulous 3 night stay at Wedgewood Barn Just like the pictures and did not disappoint Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed Great to have milk in the fridge and some biscuits for my cuppa when we arrived. Super comfy sofa. Very cosy Would definitely recommend and would love to return
SuzetteWe had a lovely stay. The property is situated in a really peaceful and charming little village – perfect for a countryside escape. It’s a short walk from a great pub (we visited twice!) and it is in a great location to access many of the Cotswolds towns and attractions. There was a small problem with the shower when we arrived. Although it couldn’t be fixed whilst we were there, Short Let Space responded quickly and organised an engineer to come out and sort a temporary fix that we were happy with.
JennyA lovely little holiday stay! A couple of issues though with it initially being quite hard to find, quite a few cobwebs and spiders around, some issues with the shower but Short Space were very good at getting a temp solution sorted whilst I was there and no matches/fire starters provided which I’d recommend them to start doing. A lovely little stay overall though!
MaisieBeautiful barn. Very comfortable and cosy despite bad weather. Steep staircase with amazing design to make it easier to climb.
GillianGreat accommodation and location.
AllisonLovely stay
VictoriaThe photos don’t lie: this place is gorgeous. In fact, the reality is even better than expected. Lovely, quiet, secluded setting: garden with fountain in front and beautiful orchard behind. Gorgeous double-height living area, tastefully decorated with genuinely attractive and interesting things. Spotless kitchen equipped with every possible amenity. Want some music? There’s a collection of LPs and CDs. Need a fan (we didn’t)? That’s provided too. Wood for the fireplace: the hostess has thought of everything. Acres of comfortable bed in the loft. In short, the perfect place for a romantic get-away for two. Highly recommended.
HowardLovely location, friendly and helpful host….. great for walks and pubs (most to drive to). Great for country houses and gardens ….. etc.
DavidNice place, all good!
