Really well situated near the station and the town. Only downside is no parking space. Nice clean place.

Very nice place in a very central location

Vital - Sep 2023 - Booking.com

The stay was fine, however, I was disappointed to be charged for the lack of kitchen cooker document. I have been charge to pay 54 pounds because a technician came to show us how to use the kitchen cooker which was not familiar to me. There was no documentation about this Kitchen cooker, and I didn’t understand why I was charged to pay for that. They should provide documentation explaining how to use this type of Kitchen cooker

Our Reply
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do send all of our guests an email with all instructions for the appliances in the home. We sent one of our colleagues out to help with this and we did inform you of the charge before attending. Lindsay @ Short Let Space

Pros: A cozy two-bedroom, 1.5-bath maisonette with a backyard. It’s perfectly situated in a small cul-de-sac between Sainsbury’s and Didcot Train Station. Both are a few minutes walk away. There are two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen has a door, so you can close the door when cooking. There is a washing machine. The place is clean, with carpet throughout, and the shower has a strong water flow. Plenty of storage space and hardly any traffic passing through.
Cons: In the back bedroom (with the double bed), you can hear the trains and the Sainsbury’s trucks loading goods between 1 am – 5 am. It is faint, and it is possible that I only hear it because of jet lag. It’s probably not loud enough to wake you up. But I have to knock off a star because the double and the single bed (in the front bedroom) are very uncomfortable
