The cons did not spoil our stay would have made it a 10/10 though would definitely stay again and would recommend. Couldn’t fault the place very clean and everything you needed was there. However, an outside light would have helped find the place Access to blankets due to unseasonably cool summer and thin duvets provided Mattress toppers beds are very very firm

After a wonderfully wild couple of years (involving renovating and building our home, publishing a book and living in a garden room/shed with our new-born for ten months whilst our house was uninhabitable), we were in desperate need of a holiday (!) We sought somewhere comfortable and clean with a bedroom for our little one; but with not so much room that we couldn’t hear him if he woke in the night. Rose Cottage ticked all those (rather niche) boxes and more. With its chocolate box charm and simple yet stylish design, this two up, two down balanced cosiness, with plenty of room to relax. It’s nestled in a secure, gated area that’s perfectly placed for exploring The Cotswolds. Our little one enjoyed saying hello to the sheep and pigs in the morning before our daily trip to Quince and Clover in Great Tew for breakfast.

Though we love our home in Cheshire, we found ourselves reluctant to return after four dreamy days in The Cotswolds. Thank you to the hosts for providing a refreshing and welcoming retreat, right when we most needed it. Your cottage is like an illustration that you’d find between the pages of a fairy-tale.

Rose Cottage is a lovely place & has such potential, but misses the mark on attention to detail.

Beautiful modernised cottage. Everything one needs. Very comfortable. Newly decorated. Stunning location. Peaceful and quiet. Close to pubs, shops and to travel around the Cotswolds. We will definitely be back!

Perhaps another sofa in the lounge.
