Adrianna - Aug 2025 - Air B&B

The house is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, yet the city’s main attractions are just a 20-minute walk away. Another plus is its proximity to the train station (less than an hour’s journey to London!). The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for families with children. The owners were responsive to every message and immediately helped when a problem arose (we couldn’t open the garden door). I highly recommend this place!

Great location, nice kitchen, big bathroom.

Anne - Aug 2025 - Booking.com

The place is very nice and quiet. The house owner (we met him by checking out) was very friendly. The only negative thing was that the fridge had not been cleaned and the washing machine had been closed while still wet. Otherwise all fine. A lovely house in a quiet and peaceful environment, at a walkable distance from town center and supermarket.

Thank you for your kind review. We're glad you enjoyed the house, its peaceful location and your overall stay. We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the fridge and washing machine. This isn’t the standard we aim for and we’ll review our cleaning procedures to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Lindsay @ Short Let Space

Location is walkable to central oxford but currently lot of construction on route. Locks are tricky, so was never able to access the back garden. Also for people used to air conditioning, be aware that like many homes in the UK there is none here and on hot summer days, it gets really hot inside particularly on the third floor (over 85 degrees) so sleeping can be an issue.

We loved this spot. Very comfortable for our family, a very relaxing location. An easy walk to Oxford city center, great kitchen, comfortable living room. We also used this spot as a base to visit the Cotswolds and it was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

The space was clean and very conveniently located to the conference I was attending at Said Business School. It was a lovely neighborhood with a friendly pub nearby. We woke to the sound of song birds. I would definitely book this space again.

Leading up to check in date, the host was very responsive and gave crystal clear on instructions, directions, and guidelines. I had visited Oxford once before so I knew most of the area but I loved the location for this house. Perfect spot! Quiet, easily walkable to the city center, train station, and bus stops/station(Gloucester Green). The bedrooms and bathroom were nice and spacious with decent water pressure for the shower. The Hollybush (pub about 2 min walk) has great food! Good pizza and dinners for a meal if you aren’t sure what to eat and fun trivia nights as well. There was some construction going on by the train station during our stay blocking car and bus traffic but it is only a 10 min walk from the train station. All in all, loved this place! Stay here for an Oxford adventure!

Excellent location next to Oxford train Station (10 mins walking). Good links for buses to city centre and Headington. Quiet area, no traffic noise can be heard (except train horns infrequently ).
