Description

Honeysuckle House is everything a memorable stay in Oxfordshire should be — a beautifully appointed, gated country home of real character and impressive proportions, set within 1.75 acres of private grounds that include a lake and sweeping views across open countryside.

The ground floor revolves around a stunning open-plan kitchen and dining room, recently refurbished to an exceptional standard. Bespoke oak cabinetry, an Aga range, marble worktops and a large central island with bar stools create the sociable heart of the home, with wide windows and bi-fold doors bringing the garden in. A large sitting room overlooks the grounds and offers a peaceful retreat, while a separate snug is perfect for quieter evenings. A well-equipped utility room, pantry and boot room ensure the house works beautifully for longer stays.

Upstairs, the principal bedroom is a peaceful sanctuary with a European king-size bed and a luxurious en suite — freestanding bath, rain shower and stone-tiled walls. Three further double bedrooms (one with its own en suite) and two generous top-floor singles complete the accommodation, giving a total of six bedrooms sleeping up to twelve guests. Three full bathrooms and a shower room serve the house throughout.

The self-contained annexe provides a king-size bedroom and its own sitting room with Smart TV and private access — perfect for extended family, guests who prefer their own space, or those travelling for work.

Thoughtfully equipped throughout, Honeysuckle House also features a wine cellar, water filtration system, EV charger and solar panels, with high-speed Wi-Fi and gated parking for multiple vehicles including a double car port.
