The place was absolutely immaculate and very well equipped with everything that we needed. There were also some lovely extra touches like robes that made our stay feel very special.
Excellent facilities in a very convenient location close to major roads and a wide range of shops. Excellent accommodation with very good facilities. The ‘welcome pack’ provided by the owner was extensive and much appreciated.

Kathleen GibbsPerfect far more than we expected. Will definitely go back. I think it is a relatively new build. Spotlessly clean . One of 4 units. Good size for two people. Bed was large and very comfortable. Full range of facilities. Large walk-in shower. Good pressure and plenty of hot water. Lovely soft towels and dressing gowns and slippers. Good quality toiletries. Plentiful ‘Welcome pack’ – bread, milk, tea coffee and biscuits and more. Excellent value for money. During our stay we didn’t see anyone from the farm, but you are provided with contact details for the owner should you need anything. We prefer self check-in! You do need your car, but everything you need is just a few miles away. Burford is a lovely, typical Cotswold town but not as touristy as say Bourton-on-the Water. Witney is nearby too. A great M &S here, plus lots of independent shops. Burford Garden Co is just a few minutes up the road from Highland Barn. Definitely worth a visit! We could not believe that parking across Oxfordshire is free. Single bus journeys are capped at £3. We took a 50 min bus journey in to Oxford and it was £3 each way. Park for 3-4 hours in a Cardiff city car park and you can say goodbye to £15-£20 plus, depending how close you are to the centre itself. I don’t usually write reviews but would highly recommend a stay at Highland Barn. We definitely plan to go back!
