For those needing to work or enjoy a quiet moment, the dedicated office is a vibrant, colourfully decorated room. It is furnished with a practical desk and office chair, alongside comfortable armchairs, offering a perfect blend of functionality and relaxation.

Ascending the staircase, you will find all five bedrooms situated on the first floor, offering a restful night’s sleep for everyone. There are two twin rooms, each featuring two single beds, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom complete with a shower, wash basin, and WC. The remaining three bedrooms are elegantly furnished with king-sized beds, one of which also boasts an en-suite bathroom with modern fittings, including a shower, wash basin, and WC. The family bathroom on this floor is well-appointed, featuring a bath with an overhead shower, a wash basin, and WC.

Outside, guests can enjoy the spacious rear garden. Parking is available both at the rear and the front of the property, ensuring ample space for vehicles.

About Fakenham House:
  • The stylishly decorated living room with tasteful artwork and furnished with a comfortable sofa, footstool and TV. The large window ensures plenty natural light.
  • Dining table with seating.
  • Full fitted and equipped kitchen with everything you would need for a long or short stay, including: hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker as well as a selection of chinaware, cutlery and glassware.
  • Colourfully decorated dedicated office with desk, office chair and comfortable armchairs.
  • Utility room with washing machine, dryer and WC.
  • Stairs lead up to the first floor.
  • All five bedrooms are located on the first floor there are two twin rooms with two single beds in each (one of which has an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC) and three bedrooms have king sized beds (one with an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC.)
  • The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside:
  • Spacious rear garden.
  • Parking available at the rear of the property and at the front of the house.

Utility bills.
Regular linen changes are carried out for stays over 9 nights.
Complimentary welcome pack including; Sachets of tea and coffee, small cartons of milk, dishwasher tablets (in properties where a dishwasher is available), additional bin bag, kitchen and bathroom cleaning product, tea towel, kitchen sponge and pan scourer. Enough to get you started.

I was looking for somewhere to stay as an extended family of 10 – grandparents, daughters and grandchildren – and this fitted what we wanted perfectly! We were here for 2 nights, meeting up at a local pub, The Lion, at Wendlebury with other family members for Saturday lunch – which we all really enjoyed.

Shan’s house was 3 minutes walk away from the local Co-op and good fish and chip shop – and surprisingly within a very easy walking distance of Bicester Village!! The house is modern – it was clean and had comfortable beds, and nice showers.

We loved our stay at Shan’s house, everything was as stated in the description and Shan was on hand to answer any questions in the lead up to our stay. We were a group of ladies staying at the house, the space was perfect for us and we had plenty of room. One thing to note would be that there is a lack of mirrors and mugs, obviously this didn’t impact our stay. It’s just difficult when you’ve got 12 ladies getting ready and when it comes to breakfast!

Location was great and very close to Bicester village.The room and bathroom are spacious and clean.The door lock was a little tricky but it was resolved quickly.Very communicative host.
