Just lovely! A great place to stay! So spacious and brand new as it looks. I could live there. The place is a 10, period. We booked the lodge to do day trips to Oxford. That’s a 30 minute drive every time. It’s okay, but bear that in mind.

Well-designed and attractive minimalist eco lodge, has clearly been built and decorated relatively recently, communication from the host company was great including videos of how to find the lodge and how to work the key safe (which I needed!). Lovely quiet countryside location with a stables right next door – the kids loved watching the horses, and even had a chat with two riders practicing their jumps outside the bathroom window one evening! Car parking excellent and EV charging worked without a hitch.

Amazing place to stay! We loved staying at Buttercup Lodge. We had only a couple of nights but could have stayed for a week! It had everything we needed & an amazing view to wake up to. Surrounded by beautiful walks, watching the Red Kites flying above was amazing.

A relaxing, open and clean space in a pretty location. Not far from pretty towns to explore. The small bedroom is downstairs which we didn’t realise but it worked fine. My toddler enjoyed having lots of space to run around inside and playing in the garden seeing the horses in the field. We enjoyed cooking in beautiful, modern kitchen and enjoying the comfy sofa in the evenings.

We had a lovely few days at Buttercup Lodge. It was a good location for Oxford and Wallingford. Lovely walks in the area too. The owners were nearby and were friendly, while Short Let itself was very responsive and gave lots of information in a timely manner. The accommodation was very comfortable and we were able to relax. The highlight for my children were the bunnies just out of the back door

Lovely quiet place in the countryside. The cabin itself is beautiful, spacious clean and comfortable. Nice walks nearby, close to Henley, Marlowe and Reading. The cabin overlooks horse paddocks to the back, the garden is nice and private. The little balcony off the main bedroom is so special overlooking the countryside. Lots of natural light with all the velux windows. Owners are close by if needed were very friendly and kind. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.
