Lovely cottage in great location in Woodstock – enjoyed visiting Blenheim, Woodstock and Oxford using the bus.

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location in the beautiful town of Woodstock. A few minutes walk to a great selection of pubs and restaurants.

All was just great and as described, would use again and also recommend for a lovely time in Woodstock.

Just a great property that we love visiting

We had a fantastic time in this cottage. Woodstock is a lovely town, and the cottage location is perfect – a 30 second walk from the main street, and a couple of minutes walk to the grounds of Blenheim Palace. Highly recommend!

Fabulous cottage a stones throw away from the centre of Woodstock and Blenheim. Downstairs was a little chilly but I acknowledge it’s an old cottage and it was a particularly cold time of the year. Had all the amenities you need and heating etc was straightforward to use. Main thing that would have improved our stay would have been earlier check in time as with young children we wanted to get settled, but we were advised they needed the full 6 hours from the previous guest

Very nice small house in quiet street in the centre of Woodstock: ideal for 3-4 people. Excellent location: right in the centre of Woodstock, but down a quiet street. A nice, comfortable, well-equipped small house, just right for the three of us.

Great stay and well worth the money spent Very clean, everything we needed, even got a phone call to ask if we had everything we needed and can we be helped in any way during the stay. Parking can be an issue but we were lucky on this occasion to get a space near the property

Lovely cottage in a great location

Charming house in a perfect location. Hosts were very accommodating and we’d stay here again. One caution: Parking was a significant challenge for us since there is no dedicated spot or a place in town that you can leave a car for 24 hours. If your plan is to drive here and then get around on foot for a few days, you’ll be parking quite far away, or playing games with feeding the meter before 8am.

The cottage itself was in a great location, was fully equipped and clean and tidy. Unfortunately, there is no outside space but we knew that from the description. The biggest problem was parking. It was restricted to residents only from 8.00am until 6.00pm (although we were temporary residents, we couldn’t get a short term permit). There was a so called “free car park” not too far away, but on looking closely, you were limited to 12 hours in any 24 which meant having to move it. All other parking was short term in the town. We took a chance on leaving it in the “free” car park and did not get a ticket. Not sure how it will be in high season, limited spaces and probably patrolled.

A great base to explore the Cotswolds! Great location in Woodstock. Very clean and comfortable, however the gas fire and dishwasher did not work.

Positives: Location was excellent, WIFI connection excellent, TV very good quality, Bed was extremely comfortable, Oven and fridge excellent, Changing of sheets/towels seamless and the desk in spare room excellent 

This charming little row house in Woodstock is the perfect getaway. Easy access to Blenheim Palace and lots of great hiking nearby.

Great place. Great location. Walk to pubs, restaurants, Blenheim Palace, shops. A very charming little cottage. Parking was never an issue.

The cottage was so sweet and the location could not be more perfect, highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again. The communication with the short let space company was excellent, they answered all questions with speed and kindness and just made everything so easy and straightforward. Would definitely be happy to stay in one of their properties again, it’s been a perfect experience.

We loved this charming spot in Woodstock. It was quiet, easy to find parking and everything worked. Everything you need is close by – shopping, groceries, restaurants. Blenheim Palace is an easy walk away to enjoy the beautiful grounds. We had a little trouble getting the key out of the key box when we first arrived but besides that we appreciated all the instructions left for us by the hosts and hope to stay here again on our next visit to the area.

A wonderful character cottage to stay in Woodstock. Can’t beat the location, shops and pubs on the corner and all the conveniences of your own home too. The kitchen it well equipped for cooking and the beds, bathrooms were all very comfortable. Communication is very fast. It was a cosy home and I would recommend to all.

Cozy, convenient, clean and comfortable. The cottage at 8 Browns Lane Woodstock has everything you need for a short or long stay. Close to all amenities in town, Blenheim palace and bus stops to Oxford and surrounding towns easily accessible. Woodstock is a charming town made even more so by walks around the extensive grounds of Blenheim. The cottage had everything I needed and was in the Centre of town which made my visit very convenient.
