Accommodation was exactly as described, great quiet country location. Would stay again!

If you want somewhere to go to be away from suburbia, this is it! A very peaceful location out in the country. Good walking and cycling close at hand. The accommodation is very modern and quirky. The house is warm and private. Plenty of off street parking. The kitchen is well equipped! Very suitable for families. It was very handy to have a washing machine and drier available also. Bring your own toiletries. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place. Ideal for what we were looking for. Spacious even though there were 6 of us. Cooked in the kitchen with no problem, lots of hot water and easy parking for multiple cars. Nice and warm, really comfy beds and clean/tidy. Beautiful views from main bedroom balcony

A beautiful log cabin, spacious and well designed for a large family group. Close to the nearby Wallingford town and surrounding villages with plenty of activities.

I had a great weekend stay at this Airbnb. The place was fantastic and exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. The host made everything simple from start to finish. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay again

Bluebell Lodge was extremely cosy and comfy. We loved our stay. Very well equipped and the bedroom balcony was perfect for a morning cup of tea! Beautiful surroundings too.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is spacious with a nice open living area. It has a cosy feel and lovely views out over fields with horses. The location is lovely if you like walking with the Ridgeway a short walk from the front door. The folks at Short Let are helpful and friendly.

The quiet location! Smell from the horses were coming in time to time, but that didn’t bother us much! The place was very clean. I wish there were full kitchen necessities such as cork screw and other little things, but again, those we could just buy them in Witney in 10 min drive. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Bluebell lodge very very much!

Bluebell lodge was very comfortable, very well maintained with everything we needed. it’s in a rural setting but within easy reach of shops and takeaways. We loved the sound of the kites, the chattering swallows and the ravens, and watching the rabbits in the fields in the morning and evening. There is so much to do in the area. Short Let Space were very proactive and gave us very good instructions.

Brilliant place – surprised it free at such short notice. Highly recommended!!

We have had a wonderful short stay at Bluebell lodge. The property is extremely well thought out and has everything you could need. Very comfortable, extremely clean and everything worked effortlessly. Beds and bed linen super comfy. A great stop for walking the ridgeway and lots to do (Henley, Wallingford, Oxford) within easy reach – though great to return to this peaceful rural setting. The property exceeded our expectations and was spacious and well appointed. I imagine it would be great if you had a dog! We hope to come back and walk more of the ridgeway. Our boys loved gazing at the ponies, dogs and red kites over head! Thank you!

Would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your friendly support at all times during my difficult situation following my accident and broken ankle.
I would especially like to thank Keeron, who was always there for me and my family, providing helpful and understanding support. This was a great relief for me and my family in this difficult situation for all of us. Unfortunately, due to my limited mobility, I couldn’t really enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bluebell Lodge.
However, the lovingly and functionally furnished Bluebell Lodge and the beautiful view of the surrounding area from the terrace were a comfort. This will certainly aid my continued recovery. I hope to be able to return again sometime after my recovery and will definitely recommend Bluebell Lodge. Many thanks to the entire Short Let Space team, especially to Keeron, who was always available to me and a great, helpful, and very friendly support.

Great place tom stay!!

The booking agent was attentive and followed up on our query re light. The lodge was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor seating area was great for outdoor dining and private. We enjoyed our stay and would return/recommend to others.
A couple of points: It would be better if the parking lighting was motion denoted rather than light as the lighting shone into the ground floor bedroom.
There was only a general bin for disposing of our rubbish which didn’t concur with the house instructions which showed a video of the bun store for recycling and general waste. We therefore took our recycling home with us.

We had a lovely stay at this log cabin. Squeaky clean, lovely quiet location. Would highly recommend for a break!

This is an excellent property in a beautiful location that is peaceful with wonderful views. The property was clean, tidy and very well presented, there really is nothing to fault. The hosting company Short Let Space are excellent, with great communication and customer service. Would highly recommend this property and would book again in the future.

Great views from a peaceful and serene countryside setting. The children loved the house and had an amazing time. Really easy to find thanks to clear instructions and W3W link. Nice selection of amenities and great WIFI. We had a really lovely stay.

This is a lovely house. It is new, very clean, and has nice cozy spaces inside and out. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Lovely lodge with everything you need. The lodge was lovely and spacious. It was impeccably clean, and everything was well kept and attractive. They provided us with plenty of towels, a hairdryer, toilet rolls and several fans. The beds were comfortable in all rooms and the main bedroom had a balcony overlooking fields and horses. There was a very large cupboard/walk-in wardrobe which was great to store all our clothes and luggage. The garden was fully fenced/enclosed, which was perfect for us to let the dog run around in. We all loved the lodge and would be happy to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our three night stay. The accommodation was very comfortable (especially the beds!) and had a very homely feel about. Parking was very convenient. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The bathrooms were very nicely done. Overall we felt that it was a lovely place and we definitely plan to book to go again at some point.

Awesome quiet chalet, very homely and relaxed. Personal favourite feature is the orientation – super sunny and vibrant sunrises straight into the master bedroom. So refreshing to wake up to!

We stayed in the Bluebell Lodge in July and it was such a clean, rustic and beautiful place in the country! There was free wi-fi which was nice to have, along with an electric car charging station, if you needed it. From the awesome wine barrel sinks and the finishing touches in the décor ,to the little things like Laundry detergent (for the washer and dryer in the unit) , hand, bath & dish soap, coffee, tea, sugar, cream and even a few biscuits, made this a perfect place for a quiet end to our long trip through Europe. The balcony off the master bedroom is overlooking a beautiful green back area with horse paddocks in the distance and the patio were both nice to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The location is close to the Ridgeway National Trail for beautiful walks and the river Thames for great dining. We visited the Wandering Kitchen for a full English Breakfast and pastries, which was delicious and only a 10 minute drive. There’s lots of activities for kids too, with Oxford Wet n Wild Aqua Park, paddle boarding, kayaking and water-skiing. We visited Oxford, which was only a 30 minute drive . We also walked up to the Broadway tower atop the Cotswolds where we had coffee and a bite to eat at the Morris and Brown Café. It was a quaint little village with restaurants and little shops. Such a cute area! The owners are onsite and were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to eat and visit. I would highly recommend staying here! It was probably the nicest rental house that we’ve ever stayed in! Would love to return if we ever get another opportunity!
