The Fleece Inn
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat that’s just a stone’s throw from the Cotswolds. It was originally built as a longhouse in the time of Chaucer by a farmer called Byrd, it now stands as a traditional English pub that’s steeped in history. However, it almost fell into the history books after a fire ripped through the thatched roof. A massive renovation project then followed, restoring The Fleece Inn to its former glory, retaining its integrity and traditional features.
The pub boasts a roaring open fire in the cold winter months. As well as a welcoming garden and apple orchard where you can relax under the summer sun. No matter the time of the year, choose from a variety of real ales and ciders accompanied by a selection of delicious pub classics such as Pies and Ploughmans.
