Make a Weekend of It

With the biggest displays falling on 6–8 and 14 November, it’s easy to turn the fireworks into a short break. Here are three ways to plan it.

Oxford city weekend (6–8 November)

See the South Park spectacular on Saturday night, then spend Sunday exploring the colleges, the Covered Market and a riverside walk along the Thames. Staying in the city means you can walk home after the display and skip the post-fireworks traffic.
