The British Society for the Philosophy of Religion was founded in 1993 and is the UK’s main forum for the interchange of ideas in the philosophy of religion. Since 1995 the Society has held a biennial conference in Britain, devoted to a particular area of the subject.

This year’s conference will focus upon the question of the relationship between love, religion, and God and how this is a central concern to both atheists and theists.

This year’s conference will be held in Lady Margaret Hall, in the University of Oxford.
