In June 2023, delegates will be welcomed to Oxford Brookes University for the 114th Annual Conference of the Society of Legal Scholars.

This years conference theme is “Law and the Public Good.” In plenary sessions during the conference we will be joined by a panel of senior judges from the UK, European and overseas courts. In a second plenary, academics and speakers from NGOs will discuss their experience of using law practically in the cause of promoting justice, development and minority rights. Participants from our 28 subject sections are also invited to consider ways in which the law can identify and uphold the public good within their own discipline.
