This musical is based on a true story, Come From Away follows the events of September 11th, 2001, when, far away from New York, 38 transatlantic flights are grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. With the US airspace closed, 7000 people emerge from the planes into a surreal scene, and despite almost doubling the town’s population, are welcomed with open hearts, minds and arms.

Thoroughly researched and based on interviews with residents and passengers, the show explores how this tiny community opened its hearts and homes to its unexpected guests.  Set to a folk-inspired score played by an on-stage band, discover the incredible multi-Olivier Award-winning musical for yourself when it takes to the road on tour!
