The home is located behind a gated entrance with off road parking. The spacious open plan living-kitchen-dining area has a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams and windows overlooking farmland. There is a private patio garden area with garden furniture which offers beautiful views of the countryside - the best way to relax after a long day of exploring.

Short Let Space acts as the agent, while the Host serves as the owner of the property. The Host is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the area is pleasant and tranquil. Upon check-in, we were delighted to find a loaf of sourdough, scones, milk, eggs, a pot of honey, butter, and oil provided for us. The bed is comfortable, and the shower is decent. We have everything we need for our stay. Additionally, our car is conveniently parked just outside the gate, and the location allows for a 30-minute drive to Oxford City Centre during non-peak hours.

Brilliant few days at Heather & Tim’s place. Hosts could not have been more welcoming, felt at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, calm & convenient. Beautiful location with lots of local attractions. Recommended.

Samson’s Barn is a lovely, peaceful and quiet place to stay in West Oxfordshire. Very convenient location and easy access to Oxford, although it is set in the beautiful countryside.
The barn is well equipped and the owners were very responsive in our communications.

Lovely place to stay for a few days. Bit of road noise in the weekday mornings but the location (loads of footpaths off into the fields) more than made up for it. Would recommend and stay again

Lovely apartment, perfect for a weekend away in Oxfordshire a short drive away from the Oxford parkway station to visit Oxford easily and a half an hour walk from Woodstock to visit Bleinhem Palace. Would certainly come visit again.

A very convenient place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford. We were without a car but the bus service is very frequent and we visited Blenheim Palace a 20 min. bus journey from the stop outside the apartment so location ideal. Beds are comfortable and the apartment warm. On a purely personal note and not really a criticism some comfy seating to sink into after a days walking would have been nice instead of the more formal upright ones. We would definitely stay again though.

The flat is perfect for a getaway. You have tons of trails and footpaths literally at your door. Woodstock is a 30 min walk away and it’s a quaint and charming little town. The communication was so easy and the owners are very attentive. They will make you feel very welcome. We highly recommend it.

We had a really lovely stay here. The hosts are helpful and friendly, and are respectful of your privacy.
The accommodation is well presented and comfortable, and we would be happy to stay there again
