Beautiful, quiet neighborhood.

A really lovely little house in Hinksey. It was well furnished and well provisioned, and felt very cosy. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the area, it’s a beautiful home.

We had a lovely few days here while we visited Oxford with our two young children. The house was cosy and comfortable, and located on a peaceful street. For us the location was ideal, and it was easy to reach Oxford on foot or by bus. If you’re travelling by car, it’s worth considering making parking arrangements – we rented a driveway on a neighbouring street.

Lovely cottage, good location – but parking is difficult The cottage is ideal for 4 people, is well equipped and is located just outside the centre in a quiet location (the distance to the centre is about 20 minutes on foot, but there is also a bus). The reason why I deducted a star: We were informed that although there was no parking space attached to the house, you could easily park on the side of the street in the area. Unfortunately, that wasn’t entirely true, as parking times were limited to 2 hours everywhere during the day. Afterwards you were not allowed to park nearby again for at least 2 hours. The nearby car park at Hinksey Park is also not suitable for longer parking (too expensive). Apart from that I can recommend the accommodation. Communication with the rental company was easy and pleasant.
