The Oxford Playhouse

One of the largest theatres in Oxford, the Oxford Playhouse hosts touring productions including theatre, comedy, music, and dance. The Playhouse also plays host to seasonal shows – for example, every year it hosts a large Christmas panto, in addition to a comedy gala raising money for the charity ‘Oxfordshire Mind’. Visitors can also take advantage of a well-stocked bar and café, which open prior to each performance, and offer commanding views overlooking Beaumont Street. Family friendly performances are available, and there is storage for prams and pushchairs.  Booster seats can be provided for younger children.
