The Killingworth Castle
The Killingworth Castle is an old inn located on a quiet road B, once the main highway from London to Worcester. The bar faces the fields on the edge of the Honey Stone Wootton village, exuding the tranquility of the countryside.
However, it is easy to reach, Oxford is about half an hour’s drive, and Woodstock (and Blenheim Palace) is only 5 kilometers (3 miles) south. The beautiful gardens of Rousham are 4 miles (6.5 kilometers) to the north, and the village of Bicester is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the east. The nearest station is at Long Hanborough, about 12 minutes by taxi to the southwest.
