Summertown Cycles
Summertown Cycles, based in north Oxford, offers two different types of bike rentals. Visitors can either hire a hybrid bike for the short-term, fitted with mudguards and panniers, and suitable for day excursions round Oxford and the countryside, or a town bike available for a long-term rental. These town bikes are available for between four and ten weeks – accordingly, they can be rented for one Oxford term, suitable for visiting academics and students. Locks are included in the hire charge, and detachable lights can also be provided.
