Pittville Park
Pittville Park is the largest ornamental park in Cheltenham and features the magnificent Pittville Pump Room, a fantastic playground, ice cream parlour and lakes.
Pittville Park is divided in two by Evesham Road and is popular for families and non-families alike. The eastern side is well-known, being overlooked by Pittville Pump Room and with a vast children’s play area, including sand and water play area plus several aviaries where you’ll find popular birds and bunnies. Definitely worth a visit for families, (take a dry set of clothes for younger children!) On this side of Pittville Park visitors can enjoy refreshments from the Pittville Park Heritage Cafe, a kiosk next to the playground and Central Cross Cafe.
The second section of the park is much larger, here you’ll find the larger ‘lower lake’, also known as the boating lake, where you can fish during fishing season. This park also includes two smaller children’s play areas, tennis courts, a pitch and putt golf course, a skate park and a BMX park. You can even hire a boat for a relaxing trip on the lake.
