Oxford Ice Rink

Located between the River Thames and the Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford’s Ice Rink offers year-round skating sessions. Visitors are welcome to bring their own skates, or to hire from the rink’s collection (which should be booked in advance). If you’re new to skating, ‘skate aids’ can also be hired for children under the age of 14, to help with balance. There’s a café on site which allows views of the ice (and serves hot drinks) so spectators can stay nice and warm, and the nearby Oxpens Meadow is a great place to enjoy a post-skate picnic.
