Gordon Russell Design Museum
The Gordon Russell Design Museum charts the life and work of the furniture designer Gordon Russell. Perhaps best known for his work in the Arts and Crafts tradition, and for the development of lasting and stylish ‘utility furniture’ during World War II, the museum features thousands of his drawings and photographs, alongside prime examples of his furniture. Based in the original workshop of Sir Gordon Russell’s company, the museum also features filmed interviews, and educational resources. Opening times vary throughout the year, and admissions charges vary by age.
