CS Lewis Nature Reserve
Once home to CS Lewis, the author of the Chronicles of Narnia series, the CS Lewis Nature Reserve preserves the pond and woodland which the writer once owned. Teeming with wildlife, the ponds are filled with all sorts of aquatic plants and creatures; in the spring, visitors may be able to catch a glimpse of damselflies, dragonflies, and toads. A map of the site, including a ‘wildlife walk’ for children, can be downloaded from the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).
