About your space

The Old Post Office is a stunning five bedroom fully furnished short let and family home. Located in the village of Milton, the property sleeps up to eight guests. This is an ideal base whether you are visiting the area on holiday, relocating to the Oxford area for work, or require a furnished family home for any length of time from a week to many months.

The cottage is located in walking distance of Milton Park, 5km from Didcot Parkway railway station and Didcot, 7km from Abingdon and 18km from Oxford. The village of Milton is just off the A34 which provides easy access to all of the above.

ABOUT OUR SPACE

The entrance to the property is off the small High Street that runs through Milton. There is also a side entrance adjacent to the off-road parking space which is large enough for two vehicles. The accommodation comprises of:

First floor:
-Front door leads into spacious open plan kitchen, central console with Belfast sink, double gas hob, oven and grill. Plenty of built-in storage space and lots of surface area for food preparation. White goods include washer-dryer, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a dining table with seating for six.
-Kitchen leads into the snug area which has a wood-burning stove, sofa, easy chair and wide array of books for casual reading as you snuggle up in front of the fire.
-The snug leads into a hallway area with adjacent downstairs W.C. with wash basin.
-There is a spacious additional lounge area with wide screen TV, sofa and and easy chairs.

Stairs lead up to second floor which comprises of:
-Bedroom One is the master bedroom with super-king bed and built in wardrobes.
-Family bathroom with bath, W.C. and wash basin.
-Bedroom Two is a single bedroom with raised bunk bed (sleeping one).
-Bedroom Three is a standard double bedroom.
-Bedroom Four is a standard single bedroom.

-Bedroom Five is a standard double bedroom.
-Family bathroom with walk in shower, W.C. and wash basin.

The upstairs area has beautiful exposed beams and is carpeted throughout.

GARDEN AND OUTSIDE AREA

There is a large garden area with reclining chairs and outside dining. There is a summerhouse with seating. There is a lovely apple tree that is rich in fruit for lucky guests staying through mid and late summer! A gardener attends once a week for most of the year.

PARKING

There is off-road parking for two vehicles.
